Dutch gamedeveloper Triumph Studios is recruiting a PlayStation 3 programmer to code Xbox 360 or PC code to Sony’s PlayStation 3. Since the last game Triumph developed was Overlord for Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and PC we think that they are porting the action game overlord to the PS3.

Nobuyuki Oneda, head of financial services at Sony Computer Entertainment, said that he’s optimistic concercing the financial results of their PlayStation 3. They sell more consoles than they had expected, but they lose more on the machines than they thought. He expects the next-gen war to break lose when holiday seasons start and people start filling the empty spots under the christmas tree.

Michael Shorrock, 3rd Party Relations director at Sony Computer Entertainment America, has announced that Rockstar Games is working on a PlayStation 3 exclusive franchise for Sony’s PS3. He wasn’t talking about LA Noire so we’re looking forward to hear an announcement from Rockstar Games!

Frank Gibeau spread the word that Electronic Arts is working on The Godfather 2, but he couldn’t tell on which platforms the game will appear. We’ll probably be seeing a PS3 and Xbox 360 version but hopefully a Wii version as well. With games like The Godfather 2, Crysis and Army of Two EA wants to reach adults who want to game.

The new demo of Heavenly Sword is old news yet, but now Sony has filled its PlayStation Store with a few PlayStation 1 classics like MediEvil, Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer and Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strike Back. The cool thing about these PS1 games is that you can play them on both PS3 and PSP. Oh and WipeOut 2097 is coming in August!

EBGames and GameStop put the retailversion of Warhawk for Sony’s PlayStation 3 on August 28th. Sony Computer Entertainment America hasn’t announced anything official yet, all we know is that the game should come out in the third quarter of this year in a retail version and a PlayStation Store version.

That’s a big blast isn’t it? Sony has published this piece of artwork and we think that it might point at Sweet Tooth so who knows we might be getting a new Twisted Metal for Sony’s PlayStation 3. David Jaffe and his men worked on the last Twisted Metal games so who knows he’ll be working on this title.

Those colorful Beautiful Katamari things aren’t rolling on Sony’s PlayStation 3 so Sony Japan has announced that LocoRoco will soon apear on the PlayStation Network. Nope, not just a simple remake but a whole new game with hopefully good SIXAXIS controls. We haven’t seen anything official from it yet so we don’t have a releasedate, press release, fact sheet or price for you.
