Sierra Entertainment has announced that A2M is developing a new action game called WET. This game will come out next year for Sony’s PlayStation 3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360. The main character in this game is Rubi, a brave female who’s a mix of Uma Thurman and Angelina Jolie. Sometimes she has to steal stuff, sometimes she kills someone, sometimes she protects a VIP. That’s a nice job with a whole lot of variety in it! But there’s more, the style she uses in her actions is completely in Tarantino style with Mexico and Hong Kong flavor. Sounds like a spicy woman, we’d love to see more of her, and hear more of her as well off course!

The co-president of Naughty Dog Evan Wells gave us a hint for a new PS3 game of Jak and Daxter in the latest Insomniac: Full Moon podcast. He says that he would like to make a Jak & Daxter game for Sony’s PlayStation 3, but they wanted something fresh after all the Jak and Daxter stuff so that’s why they started developing Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. The Jak & Daxter franchise is very strong so it would be stupid of Insomniac Games to not use it in times of next-gen gaming.
