IGN has confirmed that Sony Computer Entertainment has developed a new SIXAXIS controller with rumble function. The IGN crew played Burnout Paradise at the Tokyo Game Show and they said the controller was a little heavier than the normal Dual Shock 2 without the rumble function. It shouldn’t take to long before Sony announces the SIXAXIS rumble controller for the PlayStation 3.

This week there were quite a lot rumors about a BioShock game for Sony’s PlayStation 3 while Xbox 360 and PC gamers are currently very busy exploring the amazing game. Ken Levine from 2K Boston had to disappoint PS3 owners once again by promising that there aren’t any secret plans for a PS3 version of BioShock because they keep their word to Microsoft. After the announcement of LocoRoco for Sony’s PlayStation 3’s Store we haven’t heard much of this blobby PlayStation Network game. Today Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has released a new GC 2007 trailer with some gameplay of the happy game.

EA is ready to compete Activision and king of the legendary 900 Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground. Today Electronic Arts threw two funny commercials for the upcoming SKATE game online. Looks like it’s all about training the small muscles in your thumbs to own SKATE.

Some kids found out that in the config file of the BioShock demo there is something about the PlayStation 3. Take2 Games has a ‘Non-Disclosure-Agreement’ with Microsoft and that could make this PS3 version of BioShock before the official release of the game in Europe pretty expensive.

Sony has announced that there’s an update to version 1.2 of Folding@Home online. New in this version are features as Screensaver Mode that makes your PS3 use less electricity. The Remote Play allows you to see on your PlayStation Portable how much work your PlayStation 3 has done over the past few months. Just launch the program and you’re ready to update.
