During the Nintendo E3 press conference Reggie Fils-Aime announced that Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii will come out on December 3 in North America. Too bad he didn’t announce a Japanese and European releasedate, there are rumors that they will have to wait until 2008. Poor them.

This new peripheral for Wii-users will be great for palying First Person Shooters on the Nintendo Wii, but also for many other genres. It looks a lot like the NES Zapper for Duckhunt. One of the new games Nintendo has announced during their E3 press conference in Santa Monica is off course WiiFit. They’ve spent a lot of their precious keynote time on the new game, but it was worth it. Nintendo will continue to make the Wii a healthy console that everyone in each household can use to stay fit, healthy and happy.

The game will come with a floor pad that listens to the name ‘Wii Balance Board’. It’s a sensor pad that that will follow your movements securely to make sure that the gamer is doing the exercises right. The thingy is also capable of weighing your body and sending other valuable data to the Nintendo Wii. The game will keep track of your body weight and BMI and show the evolutions you’ve made.

One of the few new games that Nintendo showed off today is Mario Kart Wii that will come out early 2008. There are many tracks in the game from Mario Kart DS but the game will be bundled with an official Nintendo Wii Steering Wheel. The graphics of Mario Kart Wii were looking good in the presentation, the logo looks pretty much the same like the Mario Kart DS logo. As we all hoped and expected the game will be an online title. The Steering Wheel looked pretty much like all those other third party wheels.
