1. insert usb into your computer and psp
2. go onto computer
3. click on the harddrive that has psp
4. open it and there should be 4 different choices
5. click on music
6 then copy and paste your desired music from itunes or any other music opperator

According to a report this week from Cnet News:
Sony has spoken with some of the major recording companies about providing music for the PlayStation Portable.

Cnet goes on to suggest that Sony might consider not making the music available in MP3 format (the most common format) but might try to limit PSP users so that they basically have to buy off Sony.
It would be hard not to know that Sony are suffering in the recessions as so many people have been chucked out of their jobs there. But the one thing really booming on the internet is music sales. And every big internet business seems to want a piece of that action!
The thing is that Sony already has a piece of this action - as it is part owner of Dada.com - which provides MP3 music on a monthly subscription basis. So it would make sense to just make it possible for PSP owners to get their music from Dada. Its got to be their easiest and cheapest option. We will keep you updated and let you know if they offer any good free trials (they used to have a ‘25 free songs’ trial but that’s been reduced to just three at the mo).
In the meantime, check out this video to get music to play in the background while you are playing a game:
And here is an easy-to-follow guide on how to download music to the PSP - for those who have not worked out howto do it!
And final link - go here to find out how to get yourselves a stack of free music (about 300,000 songs by our count!)
