Taito’s Exit is a popular game for Sony’s PlayStation Portable, and now it appears that Famitsu knows something about a Nintendo DS version of the game. In the latest issue of the game there is something about Hijôguchi Exit DS heading for the Nintendo DS, the game is coming out in January.

Back in the eighties Konami brought Track and Field to the NES, and not too long ago they launched the retrogame on Xbox Live Arcade. Today Konami presented a Nintendo DS version of Track and Field at the Leipzig Games Convention. The game called New International Track & Field is in development at Sumo Digital known from the latest Outrun and Virtua Tennis 3 games.

In this game it’s your goal to create a character and build up a personality, relationships and so on. They promise a lot of mini-game fun, hooray!

South Peak has announced that they will be presenting Brave for Sony’s PlayStation Portable, Wii and the Nintendo DS at this year’s Leipzig Games Convention. In 2005 Sony Computer Entertainment brought Brave: The Search for Spirit Dancer to the PlayStation 2. In this game a young Indian called Brave has to save his family, and most likely the NDS/Wii/PSP version of the game will be a port of the original PS2 game.

Nintendo has proudly announced that Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl have sold over ten million copies worldwide while the game has only been out for a couple of days in Europe. We’re looking forward to seeing the final worldwide sales numbers of Pokémon D/P, we expect the game to be another Nintendo DS hotseller.

SEGA has announced that they’ll be making games based on the popular Japanese cartoonserie Doraemon for the Nintendo DS and Wii. The first games will probably appear in 2008 for Wii and NDS. The Nintendo DS version of the game will be based on the movie that’s coming out of the popular serie. In the Wii version of the game players will have to compete eachother in various minigames.

Everyone already knew that the Game Boy is a dead thing, but Shigeru Miyamoto has said that Nintendo won’t support the Game Boy Advance no more because they think that the GBA still has a strong future. Game Boy is a very strong trademark for Nintendo, so it was a hard pick for Nintendo to change the name from their new handheld the Nintendo Dual Screen to the complete new name Nintendo DS. The whole namechange thing fits in Saturo Iwata’s philosophy and it’s still not sure if Nintendo will use the name Game Boy ever again.

Normally UK gamers should be playing Mario Party 8 for the Nintendo Wii since yesterday, but Nintendo had to recall all British versions of the game because there’s an error in the game! According to Nintendo the games are being called in because of a production failure, but the truth is that the word ‘Spastic’ is in the game. Ubisoft’s Nintendo DS game Mind Quiz contained the same word and they called the game back in as well.

E3 2007, Harvest Moon DS Cute, Nintendo DS, Natsume, Harvest SpritesNatsume has announced another Harvest Moon game for the Nintendo DS called Harvest Moon DS Cute. If all goes well this game should appear in the Americas in the first quarter of 2008. In this game it’s all about the Harvest Godess and the Witch Princess who have a hate-love affaire going on. The witch did a wrong spell on the Harvest Godess and now she’s in another world! Now it’s up to the 101 Harvest Sprites to get her back.

E3 2007, japanese_sales, xbox_360, wii, playstation_2, playstation_3, game_boy_advance_sp, game_boy_advanceJapanese sales are breaking records! The Nintendo DS Lite was sold almost 140.000 times and has reached the cape of 4 million units sold this year. The Wii sold good as well with over 75.000 units sold this week and also Sony’s PlayStation 3 had a good week. (more…)
