Capcom has announced that Devil May Cry 4, which is coming out for Sony’s PlayStation 3, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and PC will be playable at this year’s Leipzig Games Convention. Too bad for the public the game will only be playable for the press. The game is set to come out early 2008.

id Software has announced at QuakeCon that they’re developing Quake III Arena for Microsoft’s Xbox Live. Let’s hope that the game will feature a multiplayer mode and enough fun levels for our FPS needs. Too bad we don’t have anymore info on this new title. We’ll keep you updated!

Another PlayStation 3 exclusive is heading towards Microsoft’s Xbox 360 as well. KOEI’s Ninja Gaiden 6 will come out on the Xbox 360 end this year in Japan together with the PlayStation 3 version. On September 1th and November 1th Electronic Arts will shut down a few more of its gameservers. Their serverparc is getting too big for them and some games aren’t popular anymore so they want to make some space for future games.

Fans have been waiting years for Grand Theft Auto IV, the sequel on the great Grand Theft Auto III. Everyone expected the game to come out end this year, but today Take Two Games had to disappoint us and delay the game until April 2008. Rockstar Games is going to use that extra time for developing and in the meantime they will focus on Manhunt 2 for Sony’s PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and Nintendo’s Wii.

Bungie and Microsoft have announced during a press conference in Amsterdam that Halo 3 for the Xbox 360 will feature an Xbox Live co-op mode for up to four players. In this mode you’ll be able to play the single player missions with your buddies.

The official Forza Motorsport 2 site says that we’ll be seeing new downloadable content for the game on the Xbox Live Marketplace later this week. We don’t know anything about the content in the downloadable pack, the price of it or any other details.

Jade Raymond, the hot Ubisoft producer working on Assassin’s Creed, has said in an interview that she’s already thinking about a sequel on Assassin’s Creed. If the first game gets good review scores and a lot of fans, Ubisoft will order another Assassin’s Creed game with her. Ubisoft is promoting the game hard to make it a strong franchise that goes far beyond videogames.
