2D gamers are still in love with the hardcore Metal Slug games from SNK Playmore. The last couple of months SNK has been porting a lot of its classic games to next-generation consoles such as Metal Slug Anthology for the Nintendo Wii. Now SNK has an Xbox 360 version of Metal Slug 3 in the makes. We think it’s going to be an Xbox Live Arcade game, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

Sierra Entertainment has announced that A2M is developing a new action game called WET. This game will come out next year for Sony’s PlayStation 3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360. The main character in this game is Rubi, a brave female who’s a mix of Uma Thurman and Angelina Jolie. Sometimes she has to steal stuff, sometimes she kills someone, sometimes she protects a VIP. That’s a nice job with a whole lot of variety in it! But there’s more, the style she uses in her actions is completely in Tarantino style with Mexico and Hong Kong flavor. Sounds like a spicy woman, we’d love to see more of her, and hear more of her as well off course!
