Need For Speed Undercover is being released today. This is the only fast action PSP game to be released recently. The game puts the player in the role of an undercover agent that has to stop an international car smuggling ring. The ring is run by street gangs in a city scape called the Tri -cities state. The trailer is impressive, but the reviews have been mixed. Gamezone give it a 5.2 rating, IGN rated it “mediocre”

Gametrailers gave it a higher score with 2172 voters rating at 6.3. Reading through the comments it seems that you will either love it or hate it. Dose.ca has some detailed complaints about the game:

The biggest complaint is that the framerate is consistently poor in a lot of areas in the game……Another knock against this game is that the level of difficulty is ridiculously easy.…… The live-action movie style cutscenes are simply terrible and unintentionally hilarious

No demo is available for this game, unfortunately - so we have to rely on reviews.

The trailer looks good - but comments make it clear that the action is just not fast enough to be interesting - for seasoned players, at least. Here is a trailer that gives a good sense of how the game plays out.
