End this year Medal of Honor: Airborne from Electronic Arts is hitting Microsoft’s Xbox 360, PC and Sony’s PlayStation 3. Today PC gamers are the lucky ones, because today EA has put a demo online with one mission from the game. In MoH: Airborne you play as Boyd Travers from the 82th Airborne division. Ubisoft has announced that it’s joining the group of publishers working on PC based games for Windows’ Operating System. The first game that will appear under this Games for Windows brand is The Settlers: Rise of an Empire, which is coming out this fall. Train Simulator 2 from Microsoft will be a Games for Windows title as well.

Last time when we had the new Japanese hardware sales in, the Nintendo DS Lite was still on the lead. In the software sales of this month it’s a Wii game that’s the hotseller. Japan seems to love more partying in Mario Party 8. SD Gundam G Generation Crossdrive isn’t selling bad as well, and on the third place is DK Jungle Climber.

Microsoft has announced that Project Gotham Racing 4, the sequel on PGR 3 that launched together with the Xbox 360, will come out on October 12th. The game is in development with Bizarre Creations and has a lot more cars and tracks than Project Gotham Racing 3. The biggest innovation is the introduction of motorcycles.

Publisher Anaconda has announced that the game Sabotage, in development at Replay Studios, will also come out on Micrsoft’s Xbox 360 in 2008. The game has been in development for the PC for a long time now and is packed full of stealthy action.

We already knew that Castlevania X: Chronicles is in the makes at Konami’s studios for Sony’s PlayStation Portable, but today Koji Igarashi also announced that there’s a third Castlevania in development for the Nintendo DS. We don’t know what Igarashi and his team are up to this time, but we hope that this new Castlevania game will kick ass just like all those other Castlevania games on the NDS.

Konami has announced at the Leipzig Games Convention that it’s developing a Wii version of Pro Evolution Soccer 2008. With Wii controls using the WiiRemote and Nunchuk this game will have to compete with Electronic Art’s Fifa 08 that even contains Mii characters. Konami says the game will look as realistic as on all other next-gen platforms. (more…)

Yesterday a Nintendo of Europe releaselist slipped out of Nintendo’s hands and fell in the hands of some curious gamejournalists. Today Nintendo released a full Nintendo DS and Wii release schedule for the coming months. Europe has to wait until 2008 for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but they can count on Super Mario Galaxy on November 16th! (more…)
