EBGames and GameStop put the retailversion of Warhawk for Sony’s PlayStation 3 on August 28th. Sony Computer Entertainment America hasn’t announced anything official yet, all we know is that the game should come out in the third quarter of this year in a retail version and a PlayStation Store version.

ESRB has announced that Microsoft’s Xbox 360 RPG Mass Effect has received an M-rating. Not the guns but certain sexual elements in the game are the cause of that Mature-rating. ESRB has discvered that the main character is able to have sex with one of his female opponents.

The PlayStation 2 from Sony used to be Rockstar’s favorite platform, but at this year’s E3 Sony didn’t say a thing about the PS3 version of Grand Theft Auto IV. Jack Tretton, big chief at Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA), said that they sent an email to Rockstar to request some footage that they could show off during their E3 press conference, but they didn’t even did an effort to reply so that’s why Sony couldn’t say or show anything from the title. And we thought Rockstar and Sony had a good relationship!

Electronic Arts has announced that Medal of Honor Heroes 2 is in development for Sony’s PlayStation Portable and Nintendo’s Wii. The game begins on June 6th 1944 with D-Day and takes you through a wild WO II adventure. Both PSP and Wii version will feature an onlinemode with up to 32 players. As announced the Wii-version will use the Wii Zapper for playing the game as an on-rail shooter, but there’s a traditional singleplayer mode as well. (more…)

That’s a big blast isn’t it? Sony has published this piece of artwork and we think that it might point at Sweet Tooth so who knows we might be getting a new Twisted Metal for Sony’s PlayStation 3. David Jaffe and his men worked on the last Twisted Metal games so who knows he’ll be working on this title.

He said that game developers risk becoming less exciting and less cool. He wants more innovations and says that he saw about twelve WO II FPS games. He knows that it’s also a little bit EA’s fault, but he says that Electronic Arts is pushing developers to create original titles like Boogie, Spore, Army of Two, Skate and many other games.

Just a minute ago we reported that Peter Moore is trading Microsoft for EA Sports and now Jack Tretton from Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has already announced that he’s looking forward to working together with Peter Moore.

EA Sports is a third-party developer so Nintendo might be getting interesting games from EA Sports’ leader as well.

Microsoft has announced that Peter Moore, former head of Interactive Entertainment at Microsoft, has moved to North-Carolina, USA, because of personal affairs. He’ll work in North-Carolina as president of EA Sports at Electronic Arts. Don Mattrick, who worked for Electronic Arts, namely Worldwide Studios in the passed, will take Peter Moore’s responsibility at Microsoft. He was responsible for games like The Sims and Need for Speed at Electronic Arts.Microsoft isn’t happy with the loss of Peter Moore and they thank him for all his duties at Microsoft and the incredible launch of Microsoft’s Xbox 360. Peter Moore will stay with Microsoft until August because he needs to pass his responsibilities to the new chief in command. Peter Moore, we’ll miss you!

Konami has announced that they will have a playable Pro Evolution Soccer 7 demo at the Leipzig Games Convention in August. The PC and Microsoft Xbox 360 versions will be playable, there will probably be no chance to test the Sony PlayStation 3 version out. It will be the first time that the game will be playable for both press and the public.

SEGA has announced that they’ll be making games based on the popular Japanese cartoonserie Doraemon for the Nintendo DS and Wii. The first games will probably appear in 2008 for Wii and NDS. The Nintendo DS version of the game will be based on the movie that’s coming out of the popular serie. In the Wii version of the game players will have to compete eachother in various minigames.
