Free Radical is working hard on Haze for Ubisoft and is getting lots of attention because of the title. Today Haze gives us our portion of fresh nectar by putting a dev diary online with blurred out SIXAXIS PlayStation 3 controllers. While playing the demo that was playable for game journalists at the Ubi Days the devs at Free Radical had to blur the controllers out. It’s possible that they received new development kit controllers from Sony with SIXAXIS controllers with rumblefunctions. And we thought rumble was last gen! Apparantely Sony has changed her mind and who knows they might reveal a SIXAXIS controller with rumble at this year’s E3.
But a controller with just a rumble function added to it shouldn’t look much different than the ‘old’ SIXAXIS controller, right? Maybe Sony did add touch sensitive functions to its PS3 controllers! Check out the dev diary from Free Radical full of nectar after the break.
