DailyTech has done some investigation on the next-generation consoles and today they published their results. Less than one percent of all PlayStation 3 and Wii consoles on this planet break, while there are a lot more complaints about the Xbox 360, about 33 percent of all Microsoft Xbox 360 machines are on a ‘failure rate’.
The guarantee on Xbox 360 consoles is being reviewed by several gameshops because of the low reliability of the machine. PS3 and Wii score really good, but an employee from EB Games told that from the 35 consoles they had in stock about half of them came back. It has become so bad that some even call the Xbox 360 the most unreliable gamesystem ever released.
News like this is a bad thing for Microsoft and it’s ruining the reputation of Microsoft and its hardware devision. The confidence of the consumer has been damaged which may result in a worse position in the next-gen war.

Its only because not enough people have a PS3 for it to even break.
