Today Square-Enix released the very first trailer of The Last Remnant, a whole new franchise for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The RPG is running on the Unreal Engine 3 and the leading producer is Hiroshi Takai, the man who worked on The Legend of Mana and The Bouncer for Squenix. There will be some typical Square-Enix characters and also a more western character named The Conquerer. Fights will be turn-based, but more orientated on action than the Final Fantasy games.
